How to get to Borșa: roads, driving times and airports
Borșa sits at the top end of Maramureș, under the Rodna Mountains, on the DN18 road. Most of the roads here are mountain roads, so allow plenty of time. Below are the distances measured to the guesthouse gate.

By car
The DN18 runs right through Borșa and links it to Moisei, Vișeu de Sus and Sighetu Marmației. To the east, the same road climbs to the Prislop Pass, at 1,416 metres, and drops into Bucovina, where it meets the DN17. The times below are without stops or traffic; on mountain roads, always add a little.

Borșa has a railway line, but passenger trains no longer run here, for lack of passengers. If you'd like to come by train, check the CFR Călători website for the nearest station they reach, and take a taxi or a car from there.
The last stretch
On the DN18 in Borșa, turn onto Strada Țapinarilor. The guesthouse is on the hill, about 200 metres from the main road, at the edge of the forest. Google Maps finds it by name, “Pensiunea Liniștea Codrului”, and Waze by its coordinates. If you get lost, call +40 755 265 875.
