How much is a night?
Double rooms start at 250 lei a night. The host gives you the exact price for your nights, and the apartment price, on WhatsApp or by phone.
How do I book?
Pick your nights in the calendar on this website and send the request on WhatsApp, with the message already written. Or call +40 755 265 875. Your booking is confirmed once the host replies.
How do I pay?
In cash, at the guesthouse.
What time is check-in?
Check-in is from 15:00 to 21:00. If you'll arrive later, let Maria know.
How many people fit in a room?
A double room sleeps 2 adults and a child. An apartment has two bedrooms, for up to 4 adults.
Can you add an extra bed?
In the double rooms, on request, for 50 lei a night on top of the room price.
Can we have meals at the guesthouse?
Yes, on request, for groups of at least 6 people: breakfast and dinner, 130 lei per person, 65 lei for children. Ask when you book or 2-3 days before you arrive.
Can we cook?
There's no cooking inside the guesthouse. The gazebo in the garden has a cooker, hob, grill and oven, and indoors there's a kitchen for making a coffee or warming something up.
How much is the hot tub?
400 lei. It has jets and faces Pietrosu peak. Let the host know in advance when you'd like it.
Are children welcome?
Yes, of any age. The garden has a playground with a slide and plenty of room for football.
Can we bring our dog?
No, pets are not allowed.
Can we smoke?
No, smoking is not allowed at the guesthouse. Parties and private events aren't allowed either.
Is there parking and Wi-Fi?
Yes, both free. Parking is private, in the guesthouse yard.
How far are the ski slopes?
The Borșa ski resort, with its slopes and chairlift, is 14 km by road, about 25 minutes by car.
How do we get to the Horses' Waterfall?
Drive to the Borșa ski resort (14 km), then take the chairlift and walk, about 30-40 minutes. It's all in our Horses' Waterfall guide.
Do you do anything for Christmas and New Year?
Yes, guests in past years had carol singers, Maramureș music and traditional food. Ask on WhatsApp what the hosts are planning this year and which rooms are free. See the holidays page.
